The John Brown House, a classic Georgian-style home, features a symmetrical layout that reflects the elegance of early 19th-century architecture. Our recent restoration of the first-floor front hall focused on preserving the historical character of the space while allowing visitors a glimpse into its layered past. This project involved refinishing details on the staircase, careful plaster work, and an updated floor stenciling design —all carefully chosen to honor the home’s history.

The design plan for the frame being built as a better way to preserve the original floor stenciling. It will allow for visitors to see the original stenciling.
